Three training workshops were held at our "Home School" - Slangspruit Primary School. 

8/18/17
The first workshop focused sharing information on Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We utilized a variety of role playing scenarios to share information about ADD and ADHD. 

8/21/17
The second workshop focused on sharing strategies to make the learning environment, the classroom, a more effective place. We formed small groups and discussed the following topics:

The Teacher as a Leader
Structure of the Day
Managing Behaviors
Rewards Systems/Motivation
Engagement

Presenting on strategies to keep students engaged.

The third workshop focused on utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
